Take a trip through Strathcona County with a purpose. Stop at designated driveways that will be hosting local vendors. From Vegetables and beef to crafts and artisans. Think of it as a farmers market style opportunity that instead of walking from one booth to the next you hop in your car and travel through the beautiful countryside making an occasional stop to purchase from and meet local vendors.
Pick up a passport at your first stop and collect stamps at each stop to enter for great prizes.
Please note for the tour some of these producers will be at sites other than their farms to make it more convenient for you to visit them all. Use the addresses listed here to find them on September 3rd.
Start your trip at 53258 Range Road 214. This is the first stop in the area. This is also the stop where you can register for your Roadside Stand Passport. Have your passport stamped at a minimum of four Roadside Stand stops to be eligible for some great prizes.

5. Bar OA Farms and Experience Alberta

Experience Alberta celebrates and promotes Alberta destinations, products and events. On the roadside stand tour you will find a bit of everything. From local grown eggs to the beautiful bead work by Felisha. If you haven’t picked up your passport you can register at this stop.
Bar OA Farms. A micro cut flower farm, seasonally inspired and locally and sustainably grown. A family owned and operated farm. There is never enough joy or enough flowers in the world. But we have flowers for you at the roadside stand.

Though many would say coffee is a necessity there are certainly some amazing flavours you will find from this boutique roaster. Grown in the Antiqua Valley in Guatemala and roasted in Sherwood Park this micro lot specialty company not only has great coffee but a great story.

Kim’s Essential Lathers offers several varieties of handmade artisan soaps made from natural, locally sourced ingredients. The soaps range from unscented, mildly scented to moderately scented. KEL will be debuting medicinal products such as Thyme and Witch Hazel facial bar for the treatment of acne, and a shower puck for the treatment of a cold. Spiced soaps are coming soon too for the holidays.
