Josephburg Roadside Stand Tour
Get ready for Sept 1st from 10am – 4pm, as we return with some of your favorite vendors and introduce new stops and vendors!
Take a trip through Strathcona County with a purpose. Stop at designated driveways that will be hosting local vendors. From Vegetables and beef to crafts and artisans. Think of it as a farmers market style opportunity that instead of walking from one booth to the next you hop in your car and travel through the beautiful countryside making an occasional stop to purchase from and meet local vendors. Register at Meat Me At Codiak and be entered for our passport draws. Here you will also receive your copy of the Adventure Guide
Things to note:
- Pack a picnic basket to enjoy at Elk Island Park at the end of your tour.
- Bring a cooler. A large cooler. You will be glad you did once you see the fresh local products.
- Many but not all vendors will accept debit and credit so bring along some cash.
- Washrooms are available at Meat Me At Codiak , Herbal Roots and Experience Alberta. Plan accordingly.
- Keep the Adventure Guide for future reference.
- Sign up for the Akers Acres Harvest Tailgate – crop farming 101.
